its been about 2 weeks since my last post. and in a turn of an eye, tomorrow will be my first day of the sfa training. *nervous* .. dress code: office wear with covered shoes. grooming: neat with make-up. act professional. aaaahhhh!! *runs around screaming* what am i gonna wear?? and on friday, there will be a recurrent practice of first aid.. O.O i cant remember how to do cpr..!!!

anyway, the cairns flight i did on the 15th, was one of the best i ever had. no joke! my csc was supposed to be joe. but on the 14th, csc derek reported sick for his cairns flight. so joe was swapped over to the 14th cairns and derek came onto the 15th. yea..! i thought i would be left out, as usual.. but i was surprised.. i was welcomed.. with love..

wanna guess what we did in cairns...

derek gave up his room to one of our first officer as the hotel was not informed of the extra flight crew and thus, no room was reserved for him.. poor zhi qiang.. so derek shared room with elaine and i!! our room had a double bed and 2 single beds.. facing each other!! creepy~ i was the last one to sleep as i was slowly unpacking.. i fell asleep at 10 am cairns time and we were supposed to wake up at 2 plus to catch the 3pm bus.. i heard elaine's alarm ringing at least 10 times.. but i just could not get up.. until the phone rang.

hello.. " hey.. where are you all.. we are downstairs waiting already!! the bus just left..!" clare asked.. i replied sleepily.. " huh... now what time?" *look at watch..* 1315 singapore time= 1515 cairns time... ... ... !!! we overslept by 1 hour.. omg... elaine and derek is still sleeping.. O.O

in the end, philip and clare came into our room and woke derek up with a loud noisy ringtone.. he was so pissed!! from then, derek, elaine and i became the 3 little pigs. philip and clare can be the wolves who huff and puff to wake us up.. hehe.

after dinner at the small roast chicken store just streets away from the hotel, derek went to the supermarket to buy a mango as it is now the mango season.. sluurp.. and the 4 of us-philip, clare, elaine and i went to try our luck at the casino.

that day, i brought my passport and identification card in case they wanted to check our age. but instead.. nobody stopped us.. i went in with 20 aud. used 10 aud as my capital.. and played big or small.. while playing, clare was obseving everyone around the table.. i stood on the left side of this chinese man who was seated and the 3 of them stood at the right side of the man. we were at the BIG side of the table. i then realised something. when elaine, philip and i played together, we would win. the 3 of us cannot play when clare is playing. elaine can play with clare. when elaine or philip is playing with me, chances of winning is 50/50. soon the chinese man sitting in front of us moved to the other side of the table. wrong choice man.. he started losing.. and we started losing too.. until a group of caucasians came in to play.. our luck picked up..

i might sound superstitious.. but its better to believe. especially gambling. never underestimate what chi and fengshui can change. after 30 mins, we went to cash our winnings.. philip won 110 aud, elaine 80aud and i 55 aud. congratulations..!!

we went back to the hotel room and played cards with derek before he fell asleep.. the 4 of us again.. played until 2am singapore time=4am cairns time.. then stopped. we agreed to meet downstairs for breakfast at 9.30am.. which was 5 1/2 hours of sleep..

the next morning..

derek's mobile rang suddenly. i looked at the clock beside me and blinked. was i dreaming, or was it already 11am... ... ...!!! our reporting is at 12pm..! 3 people had to share a toilet.. and be downstairs in full uniform at 12 sharp.. lol.. that was the fastest time i took to prepare.. i went in to shower at 11.40, came out at 11.50. packed my check in bag, put on make up, blow hair and brush teeth.. usually i will take about 1 1/2 hour to do everything.. miracle..!!

when we got downstairs, we realised that philip and clare woke up late and didn't go for breakfast too!! LOL.. luckily the flight was smooth.. passengers were ok.. but all of us were stoning all the way throughout the whole flight. except for derek who had slept more.. hehe..

what an exciting cairns trip~ 30th Nov, is another cairns that i have.. so im hoping all the kakis on this flight can swap over... then we shall play mahjong.. and of course, not forgetting to try our luck at the casino!!~
